Democracy? - a nice idea, you ought to try it sometime |
If you want to contact me, you can do that here, if you want to support my work, I don't have business paypal or any of the other things everyone seems to be using to try to 'monetize' their writing, seems to me very small returns for a lot of work for we non-internet-stars (aka 'influncers') (and also subject to the commands of the rulers as we are seeing with Paypal so often recently) - what would really help all of us is finding me an agent or publisher for Green Island below - a book which really should be the 'true democracy fighters' standard fictional reference in answer to Atlas Shrugged, the 'bible' of the capitalist reactionary revolution libertarians et al beginning in the 70s.
And a book for younger readers too, Dave's an eclectic sort of person - Aquila

Puzzling observation - we have many many high quality websites talking about all the bad stuff going on today and for the last few decades, way more than anyone can keep up with - but aside from a few sites talking about 'back to the land' or promoting demonstrations, we have none at least that I've seen of any widespread following talking about how we are supposed to make things better here, how to stop and turn back the takeover of our countries and world by some very evil people, which seems a serious, and puzzling, oversight, not the way normal humans, who've been fixing serious problems as they arise and inventing new things to make their lives better since forever, would be behaving. And I see many comments on the discussion sections of many of these websites asking 'what are we going to do about this and when?!?' questions. I have a little think about this oddity, and how 'influencers' control so much of modern opinion and action.
On point, for me, I believe the only way to stop this ongoing evil-intentioned takeover of our countries and even planet by people who clearly wish to establish a massive and extremely powerful, probably inescapable if they actually implement everything they are trying, technocratic dictatorship of some kind is to pick up the fight our ancestors started a couple of hundred years ago which got diverted by these same forces into a coma of some kind during the 70s and 80s and 90s, the fight for true democracies, opposing the (clearly) capitalist controllers of our societies to transition to true democracies truly controlled by intelligent, engaged, strong and courageous citizens working together to create a good society for all of us, peaceful, prosperous, caring, egalitarian.
There is a central problem with this notion, however. It seems, I believe, that we have a very small number of 'democracy-able' citizens these days who are ready to take up this fight, as after 40 years or so of deliberate and very effective pacification and dumbing down by the same technocrats currently openly trying to establish their 'new world order', call it what you will, most citizens have been transformed into basically 1984-ish proles, well soma-tized and fully under the control of the NWO technocrats, unable and/or unwilling to see the great danger we are in, and thus uninterested in tackling a problem they can't or won't see.
So - for those of us who understand the great threat we are facing in the early mid-years of the 21st century, I believe our first order, our only important order really, of business to initiate a serious pushback against these wouldbe omnipotent rulers must be to devise and implement a plan to wake these prole masses up, or at least some critical mass of them, to make them aware of the lies they and all of us are living under, to return them to their full human status of intelligent, engaged citizens watchful of their community and democracy and on guard and ready to stand tall and push back against these wouldbe dictators, and get them involved with us in working out how a true democracy should be functioning in the 21st century, in conditions very different from the times our ancestors were putting together their visions of 'democracy', and making the appropriate plans to throw off the chains that keep us all imprisoned within the walls of these pretend democracies where 'we the people' have no true, meaningful power, and creating true 'of, by and for' we-the-people democracies peopled by intelligent, engaged, aware, democracy-understanding and -enabled citizens which we truly do run as we all see fit together.
I think this is going to take some time, as most people are deeply, deeply indoctrinated/brainwashed to believe a handful of deeply ingrained lies which keep a lot of otherwise reasonably intelligent and caring people believing that they actually do live in democracies, with generally honorable and well-meaning leaders whom they elect and other authorities and who do run their countries as best they can, and whatever the problems are today, they are 'organic' and not some 'evil conspiracy theory', and the best course is just to let our wise and caring and competent leaders deal with them.
It will be the first and major part of our work to meet with these people and talk about and expose these controlling lies - the lies of 'democracy' itself, the 'free and responsible media', the 'just there in the background like the air we breathe and doing a good job' banking/credit system, the huge and perverse lies about wonderful capitalism and horrible commies, the even more outrageous and perverse lie about 'the commies' as 'pure evil' when it is actually the Anglo-American capitalists who have clearly and undeniably been the greatest force for pure evil in the history of the world - all need to be exposed as the great and terrible lies and imprisoning walls they are, which will take time, even though there is a mountain of undeniable and irrefutable evidence clearly demonstrating the untruths concerning all of these things most people have been taught to believe.
As we engage in these 'turning the lights on' discussions with those of our friends and acquaintances we think are finally becoming disillusioned with their pretend democracies and blatantly lying and corrupt officials, there will be many things we all need to be talking about as we undertake this journey into understanding and exposing the ways of autocratic power and embracing and implementing the ways of democratic peace, of which I try to start the conversation herein.
