Appendix 1: A Democractic Process

As the first US-Americans said 250 years ago, '...that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness'

And it's far beyond argument that now in the 2020s we have reached this point, with our current governments taking a wrecking ball to what we thought were our 'rights and freedoms', not to mention our economy, our safety, and our security.

What we need to create, in my opinion, is a true democracy, which basically simply means all citizens engage in an informed, open debate about any issue of importance to the area (community, province, country), eventually (weeks not years) hopefully reach a majority consensus on what we want to do, and then our administrators put that policy into action.

So - Let me briefly outline how I see a true democracy working, a vision to work for. Details can vary, but I think it has to generally be like this.

First - From the most basic 'we the people' level - let's assume a local community of 1000 people (and let us recall, the 'ideal democratic' citizen as I outlined earlier, well-informed with a good broad education) - these numbers can be higher or lower depending on various things, but the process will be the same. The idea is a community-based number small enough so that most people will know most other people, everyone will be known by many others, and it will be easy to identify anyone trying to come in from outside to illegitimately influence the process. Whatever the issue is, we discuss it freely and openly and calmly, with anyone who wants to speak allowed to speak, probably a moderator of some kind chosen by approval from the people at the meeting to keep things in some sort of order. This discussion does not have to conclude in one meeting - we will have as many meetings as we need to make sure everyone is sure they have had any questions they might have had satisfactorily addressed - I would assume for most things after the first meeting many people will have questions that have not been answered to their satisfaction, or will want to go home and check out things others have said or referenced or have smaller talks with friends, which of course will be part of the process, and schedule a 2nd meeting a few days later - 2 meetings should be enough in most cases, but it's all open and flexible, if we need 3 or even 4 meetings, that is fine - we're still talking a time of weeks maximum, with days between meetings not months or years, while as we know normal decision making in our current governments is measured in years, usually, if it's something 'we the people' want - if 'they' want to do something, of course, they can do it quickly - it took them only a few days to decide to 'suspend' democracy with nothing more than unvalidated hysterical rumors of the sky is falling pushed 24/7 by a complicit media on an unprepared public, sorry a 'deadly worldwide pandemic that could kill millions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!', a proposal that surely, if anything, should have had a big national discussion - but of course they knew what the results of such a discussion would have been, so had to impose the policy quickly and consolidate it with massive media fearmongering propaganda while most people were still confused and easily manipulable, so by the time the seriousness of the situation (cancelling democracy, not the non-pandemic covid scam) was starting to become clear most people were already in their self-imposed chains of obedience, cowed by a highly aggressive media campaign to do and believe as you are told, and anyone daring to question immediately attacked in various ways.

So after we have a decision at our 1st level meeting(s), we arrange the 2nd level meeting, to which each small 1st-level meeting sends 2-3-4, some small number, of representatives - there will usually be two main sides to any discussion, so each side at each 1st-level meeting picks 2-3 representatives from their POV to send to the next meeting, people they trust to be honest and who can present their POV well - this is just the first level of redundancy to ensure this system will be almost impossible to game, everything will of course also be online, and there will be people from every 1st level group who know people in other groups, and they can talk on the phone or by email or whatever to make sure everything on the net is accurate etc, a kind of impossible-to-break but easy to manage redundancy built right in from the very beginning of the discussions to keep those who would manipulate things for self-serving purposes from even getting started.

So for an approximately same size meeting, 500-1000 people at the 2nd level meeting, we will now be assessing the informed, well discussed desires of approx a half million to a million people, and following the same pattern as the 1st level meetings at which things were fully discussed, there should not be much new to be discussed here, but there will be that opportunity for the main arguments of each side to be presented and again a tally of the numbers of people on the different sides accurately assessed - and if there are any new ideas that one of the 1st level groups think have not been presented at their 1st level meeting, they will be free to call a suspension of the 2nd level meeting until they have had a chance to reconvene the 1st level meeting and air that new idea. With the 2nd and subsequent meetings being done online, again this will not be a problem, not used to delay things indefinitely, no more than a few days. And with reps from 2 sides at this meeting, the final vote will be a completely true vote, as each 1st level meeting will have an x/y vote - x votes for position A, y votes for position B, and the final 2nd level tally will reflect those accurate numbers of 'we the people'.

And so a 3rd iteration will be done the same way, and a 4th if necessary, and reflect the wishes of the city or province or country, truly and accurately after open, unlimited informed debate, and the final decision posted on the appropriate places and a final chance for any serious objections to be raised (at which time new local meetings could be called if such objections were serious enough and such issues talked about again - not a problem, this is OUR democracy, and we engaged and intelligent citizens are happy to take time with any details - remember, we are only talking a relatively few weeks here to make a decision that is deemed important enough to require national attention, and we are happy to take a bit of time to make sure we get it right. In the current 'pretend democracies', such major decisions are made by generally not overly intelligent or informed party puppets over a period, often, of years under the heavy influence of people with very different motives than 'the good of our country' - the direct way is far, far better, at least for people wanting Democracy rather than oligarchy. And of course there will be obstructionists to deal with, people who want things done their way and will never agree to anything else - but once it becomes clear these people are a small minority, we'll just have to carry on over their objections, it would be insane to allow 2 or 5 or 10% of the people to be allowed to obstruct for long periods of time the democratic desires of a clearly large majority. For closer issues - we'll have to work something out, from the other side, of course, it seems very destructive to say that 51% can force the other 49% to do something they strongly oppose. Things to be worked out later - personally, I have great faith that the majority of people are well-meaning, and will be able to come to consensus agreements with strong majority support in most issues, and that will be that. I think if something does not get a strong majority after full debate, then it should just be shelved for some period of time, and people allowed to work out whatever compromises they need in their local communities.

And then some smart, trained people will be called (by us, we will identify strong candidates from across the country at the smaller meetings, who will be presented to some kind of country-wide assessment process and the best person voted on country wide) to draft appropriate legislation reflecting the decision (again, a few days or couple of weeks in time, never any excuse to take longer than that, the groundwork and necessary background have already been fully aired, and they are drafting legislation with the very purpose of setting down clear policies supported by the people, not policies supposed to be 'for the people' but actually full of legal bafflegab and loopholes to allow the rulers to do as they wish, and incidentally provide endless hours of 'work' for $1000-an-hour corporate lawyers grifting from the public purse, etc), and all of the local meetings called again to study the legislation and agree to it or not, or suggest things to add or remove (yes there will always be people complaining about small things and trying to put off things they do not agree with, but the true will of a true majority should be clear and such attempts easily dealt with, and not allowed to derail the public will), and suggest adjustments to make the legislation even better.

And so then we come to the big thing - how will the Government work, after the true democracy decides what it wants to do?

This will be a big thing, transitting from the current heavily controlled and secretive system, from which of course the current behind-the-scenes rulers are certainly not going to go peacefully, but it will be a job worth doing - the transition from some antiquated feudal-based-type system to a modern democracy will take time and struggle and, probably, sacrifice as the strong, entrenched, vicious parasite fights back, but pay for itself endlessly in the coming years of our 'finally a real' democracy. The alternative is not a good one - we're all going to be paying big big time very soon if we fail to get rid of the current monsters running the world - Gates et al are right now trying to solidify their power to a much higher level - they want to be able to declare a 'pandemic', and by so doing assume pretty much total control over the entire world with their 'vaccine passports'-aka- 'papers please citizen' total surveillance system, talk about megalomania, but most world governments are ready to sign on. We don't have a lot of time to try to stop them.

As this all begins to get underway, as we finally achieve our first requirement of enough MPs elected under the old system, we will have to slowly start transiting to our Democractic bureaucracy. As noted earlier, part of the initial Democracy Discussions will be discussions on how our current government is formed, the many departments and so on which look after different things in the country, and the work they do and the type of people they need to run them. We don't need to reinvent everything, we have the basis of a good system right now, it's just under the control of people shaping and using it for their interests and not ours - so the first job will be deciding how we want to reimagine **our** democratic government, which services we need to keep and add and improve, which current departments etc are not required in our Democracy, how they will all be managed, and then putting people into the appropriate bureaucratic positions who will be 'our' people, under our control. These people will have been identified and prepared and ready to go through the same process noted above, from the local level meetings through a national process, and already well prepared and on our side (the side of Democracy rather than oligarchy) when we have the chance to put them into their positions. And we will need these people throughout the government - to give a graphic example, when the current rulers command 'their' generals to deploy the troops to round up and imprison the 'insurgents' - we have to have in place a whole gang of majors and corporals saying 'no sir, we are not prepared to follow illegal orders - but we are prepared to arrest and hold any generals attempting a coup against duly elected officials giving proper commands for court martial.' And etc.

This true democracy couldn't be done 20 years ago even, but now with decent-speed internet pretty much everywhere, we can have a true democracy of, by and for all the people truly reflecting the wishes of all citizens. There'll be bugs to work out of course, but we're a pretty smart bunch of people, when we decide we want to do something right and make it work, we can do it - once we get rid of the overlords who have highjacked the very idea and turned it to their own ends.

BUT - the big problem still remains - how do we get from the current totally corrupt system enabled by large numbers of passive, indoctrinated, obedient citizens to this true democracy of informed, engaged citizens understanding their first and most important duty to the country is to create a true Democracy and destroy the cancerous capitalist system and put its leaders and enablers in prison for life? How do we create the critical mass of people who will lead their communities to a true awakening, and a true resistance to the monsters currently leading them around?

I see only one way that would have any chance, particularly in the very short time line we have to accomplish this, before the berserkers have established their all-powerful empire with their hive-phone trackers and cashless society - an army of aware people who understand the situation getting out personally into their communities and engaging others and informing them of the situation, and why it is so important to stop enabling the berserkers running the world and establishing true Democracies that will ensure we never reach this level of imminent danger again.

This is going to be a very hard sell, of course, to 'the masses' who have been unquestioningly loyal and obedient to the 'but we already have a democracy!!' myth/lie for most of their lives, but there are always some who have never entirely bought into this, and I think a lot more after the last couple years of blatant unconstitutional and illegal power grabs by the rulers, and all the terrible rules and mandates causing so much damage that many many people are understanding were not necessary, and caused a huge amount of damage, and indicate clearly that our governments have become unresponsive to the needs of the people, as a former famous document justifying a democratic revolution put it so clearly, and can be won over with the right arguments and responses to their questions.
