![]() If you want to contact me, you can do that here, if you want to support my work, I don't have business paypal or any of the other things everyone seems to be using to try to 'monetize' their writing, seems to me very small returns for a lot of work for we non-internet-stars (aka 'influncers') (and also subject to the commands of the rulers as we are seeing with Paypal so often recently) - what would really help all of us is finding me an agent or publisher for Green Island below - a book which really should be the 'true democracy fighters' standard fictional reference in answer to Atlas Shrugged, the 'bible' of the capitalist reactionary revolution libertarians et al beginning in the 70s.
And a book for younger readers too, Dave's an eclectic sort of person - Aquila ![]() These and Dave's other books can be found at Dave's Smashwords EPUBS page - and for the curious, if anyone cares, a few words on From Hastings to Green Island - the (very) short form story of Dave's own journey.. The View from Green Island GI Central - my 'net home' for many years, retired a few years ago, the phoenix has not fired yet, but may soon - lots of venting, lots of good writing, lots of 'out-of-the-box' ideas you aren't EVER going to hear on the CBC The Democratic Revolution Handbook by Dave Patterson

Basic Democratic Economy, A3a. Big Lies 1 - Democracy, Media, Money, A3b. Big Lies 2 - Wonderful Capitalists!! EVIL!!!! Commies!!, A3c. Big Lies 3 - Pure evil indeed - but who???, A3d. One lie to rule them all, one lie to bind them Democracy Building Blocks 2: A Democractic FrameworkBut for now, for the 'big picture view', we need to consider, after we have thought about the kind of Citizen we require to create and maintain and grow our Democracy, the 2nd thing that is essential for a strong, happy, peaceful, prosperous, nourishing, abiding democracy, growing in strength over time, a beacon of hope to other peoples struggling under modern capitalist plutocracies masquerading as in-name-only 'democracies' or other authoritarian dystopias which have managed to throw aside the socialist restraints on their limitless exploitation of everything - and that is a good framework. Once we have the solid core of strong democracy-able citizens and their determination to create a solid nourishing true Democracy to replace the repressive pseudo-democracies we now live in, how is a Democracy in a large, modern country going to be constructed, what institutions will we need, to work, to be robust, to be truly a good, well-organized, well-managed truly democratic society, a peaceful, efficient, prosperous, abiding system built to stand the ravages of time and capitalists and other wannabe feudal lords, able to withstand the attacks that will surely be coming our way from the strong, clever, determined rulers of those less democratic countries around us or traitors from within, who will surely be eager to destroy us rather than let go their grift-based wonderful lives, to let us prosper as a foil to their much less good societies in other countries? In a country of courageous, engaged, intelligent citizens determined to create a strong, viable democracy, what will our core institutions be, in a large, modern society in a large complex modern world with enemies out there surely wishing our failure, to provide protection and nourishment and security for all citizens and enable us to be an equal and independent player on the world stage? How will we decide who manages such institutions, and how we keep them following our democratic will?? How will we protect ourselves from enemies without and within?? First let me say, we don't need to reinvent the wheel, to toss our current societal institutions into the dumpster and start the construction of a modern, robust 'true democracy' from scratch, as during the later years (let's say for some numbers 1850-1970) of our modern once-growing democracies we had a lot of very smart and innovative people working out the best way to structure and run a democracy, advancing with advancing technology etc., and they created some very good institutions - institutions which, unfortunately, the capitalist beast, also developing over time in response to this challenge and becoming stronger and more wily, slowly infiltraited (sic) and slyly, cleverly, through the education system and media propaganda, subverted them, turning them from creating an ever-improving great democratic society to, after 1970, turning the democratic system against itself, as a cancer takes the great biological machinery of a human body and turns it against itself, slowly turning struggling, almost successful in some cases, democracies to the creation and strengthening of a great capitalist-neo-feudalist faux-democracy society, with a small ruling class and a great class of generally moderately-well looked after peasants but also peasants well-indoctrinated, well pacified, well brainwashed and well dumbed down to believe their 'pseudo-democracy' was a 'true and wonderful!!!!' 'democracy' so they wouldn't revolt no matter how clearly they were being taken over, with the addition of a small very-well-looked after managerial class to act as a buffer between the rulers and the peasants, doing the main work of keeping the peasants in line in various ways, whilst funnelling ever more of the wealth of the society created by those workers to the capitalist parasites. And then of course as people with power are wont to do, they decided that pretty much omnipotent power wasn't good enough, they wanted absolute power, and for the last 3-4-5 decades - and the last decade with the great propaganda-indoctrination-control tool of the hive-phone - have been working towards that end, and are getting very close to realising their dream (and our nightmare) What we are going to need to do, which will naturally be happening at the same time as we are doing the work to awaken our critical mass of informed and engaged and ready-to-fight citizens as I'll talk about in the next section, is to take some time to carefully examine and elucidate all of the major institutions of our country, get a clear picture of how they work and how they fit together in the larger structure, and re-imagine them, re-purpose them, and take control of them as *truly democratic* institutions of true high-quality, nourishing public service working **for** 'we the people', rather than institutions of 'iron fist in velvet glove' capitalist control. Like they used to be back in the 60s, for instance, in Canada, which had a truly world-class public service at the time, and I assume many other countries did also before the capitalist berserker was unleashed in the 70s - or 100 years ago in the UK, where the trains ran on time to every corner of the country, just imagine!!, and their once-great public service infrastructure, a massive achievement in world history, but then destroyed by the capitalists in their reactionary revolution of the 70s and onward as they took truly public-service dedicated people and replaced them with capitalist-serving apparatchiks dedicated to destroying the great public services - important (aka 'rich ruling/managerial class') people in the modern world get around in private jets and limousines and use the most modern profit-based health care centers, and things of benefit to the average people such as good and reliable health care are of no importance in their world, and don't need money wasted on them when there are lavish new mansions to be built or acquired etc. Let them eat cake, as some earlier elite person said. We need the capitalists to be reminded - forcefully - about how that worked out in the end. Karma happens. A country cannot provide maximum wealth appropriation to a small elite ruling class and high quality public service at the same time. Our great modern wealth producing countries have been turned to the former for decades now, we need to return them to the latter. Anyway - as a central part of creating a true democracy, at the same time as we are creating our democracy-enabled citizenry, we all need to be thinking about and discussing what existing institutions can be retained and repurposed (actually I guess 're-repurposed') to democratic ends, which ones are of no real use in a democracy, or even detrimental to the very concept, and can be done away with, and what new institutions might be useful in making our true Democracy in our modern technological world stronger and less vulnerable to hostile takeover. These things need to be carefully studied and discussed at the same time we are working on our 'creation of democracy-enabled citizens' which I'll talk about in the next section. I see about 13 major national institutions we need to be talking about and figuring out how to make them do what they should be doing in a true 'for the people' Democracy - 1) the democratic process itself, 2) managing the economy, 3) an honest media, 4) an education system devoted to 'education' rather than indoctrination, 5) legal-policing, 6) healthcare, 7) communications, 8) defence, 9) foreign relations, 10) natural resources, 11) a 'democracy defence force' to be fully briefed on all potential contigencies as the NWO people will surely be trying to destroy us as soon as they see what we are doing, 12) leadership, - we will be a full democracy with democratic decision making, but we still need leaders/representatives/spokespersons to engage with other countries at meetings, to act in a managerial capacity to oversee 'big picture' things, or to be ready to take (temporary) organizational command in emergencies of any kind, so how do we instruct and control them and any potential urges to become 'leaders for life', and 13) Democracy Agora - a great national discussion board. And etc etc etc - I am sure other things will come up for discussion, running a big, modern democracy efficiently and democratically will have a lot of moving parts to manage - and it will be our job as the democracy-able citizens tasked with being in ultimate command of this great system to understand its general operations so we can be ready to take action if required. The **Democratic** Institutions 1. Democratic Process: First, the most obvious institution we need to talk about and create is the truly democratic means we will use to choose what our policies will be, how the management bureaucracy will be structured, and who will be entrusted with the very important management positions of these institutions. This is of course a major discussion all by itself, and as I am just outlining what I see as the main democratic institutions we need in this section, I've put my lengthier suggestions for one way in which we could establish this most fundamental of all democratic processes in more detail in Appendix 1. Basic Democratic Process. 2. Economy: Second, I think, will obviously be how we manage the economy, and the money/credit system that is the basis of every modern society, and the basis of **every** problem we face in our modern world, all of which could be basically eradicated or at least very greatly lessened if people actually understood this system, and how it is used to control us - if we had informed, democratic control of this system, and made it work 'for' we the people and a strong democracy, rather than of, by and for our rulers (basically the banking cartel and other top level capitalists) to maintain a quasi-feudal 'oligarch-serf' society. Currently of course we have a capitalist political-economy system, which, as the name would suggest, is designed to benefit the capitalist hierarchical top-down control 'pretend democracy' model of society. The whole basis of the problem (aside from the fact almost no 'citizens' understand what is happening) is that although theoretically of course the 'soverign government' controls this system, in reality the thoroughly corrupt governments (fundamental rule of 'capitalism' is that everything is for sale, and when you control the money/credit supply you can of course buy anything you want, including of course highly-susceptible-to-being-corrupted politicians) have ceded actual control to the banking cartel. And the banking cartel creates 'credit' for this system out of thin air AND are, somewhat insanely from 'our' point of view, allowed to charge interest on the money/credit created out of thin air!! - and then clearly fraudulently and odiously, our completely crony-capitalist-controlled government, rather than creating this credit themselves, as they could and should as the sovereign of the nation through some type of national bank, both debt and interest free, **borrows** money from the banking cartel which creates it out of thin air by the hundreds of billions every year, creating great interest-bearing debt completely unnecessarily, and of course completely fraudulently. And all consumer loans are created the same way, when they could and clearly, in a gov of, by and for 'we the people' rather than for the benefit of the banking cartel, be created interest-free with only a small service charge or something by a properly created and run government bank. And of course the capitalists are great speculators, so many many billions are created for speculation, which is highly destablizing and inflationary in any economy, and a central contributor to the capitalist 'boom-bust' cycle, which is a great contributor to the 'wealth flowing from bottom to top' feature of capitalism. And these things together of course create systemic inflation, which of course reduces the 'real' income of every citizen as our wages or salary always rise slower than inflation. All of this is not good for 'the country' although of course it's good for the banksters/oligarchs. And more - this complete control of the money/credit supply allows the banking cartel to create inflation or money shortages or depressions/recessions winners/losers etc at will by issuing too much or too little credit - good for them, bad for us, heads they win tails we lose every way you turn - and a complete fraud. The basic creation of a strong and stable economy is a longer discussion to elucidate thoroughly, but it would be a long tangent here, where I am just delineating the necessary institutions for a strong democracy, as it will have to be at the very top of the things 'informed, engaged citizens' **must** know in order to create a true 'of by and for' the people democracy, so I've done a bit more on that in Appendix A2. Basic Democratic Economy. 3. Honest Media: We are going to have to get a firm grip on establishing some kind of honest media in the country. As anyone reading this will know, for many years the 'mainstream' media (more properly the corporate propaganda/indoctrination maintenance secretariat - they are not a 'press' and the people working there sure as hell do not deserve the title 'journalist') has functioned primarily as a propaganda outlet for the 'deep state' or whatever you want to call the real behind the scenes rulers of our country, and have been completely unreliable as a source of 'news' - and this is of course completely untenable in any country wanting to (truly) call itself a 'democracy. A reliable source of 'news', i.e. important ongoing events in our region, our country, and the world along with a broad selection of informed commentary from varying points of view, is absolutely essential for citizens to plan their lives and, in our new Democracy, to help them make informed decisions about current decisions needed to be made and/or the path forward for our country. It is great, crucial really given the times, that we have, at least for now, a very wide range of 'citizen journalists' on the internet from which to get info and analysis the corporate media prefer we do not have, things they hide or lie about or spin, etc, and to compare different points of view etc - but this is not really a good path forward in a country with 10s of millions of people. And these 'citizen journalists' are mostly just commentators, some notable and welcome exceptions of course - very welcome commentators giving their ideas about things from a perspective the controlled media do not provide, but a commentator is not a 'journalist', a person whose job is to report what is going on in the country or world in an impartial way, and to spend a good deal of their time nosing around in places powerful people would rather not have nosed around in. Many if not most people don't have the time or inclination to spend several hours every day trying to sort out truth from fiction or finding things 'important people' are trying to hide, and we need reliable and dedicated media publishing thoroughly and honestly every day that we can rely on for such things - like the pre-capitalist-takeover days of the CBC or BBC, which were very high quality news places, not perfect, but a hell of a lot closer than we have today, we need to take a model like that and make it better - we will always have the wider net to go to (our net will of course be a hell of a lot more open than the 'woke-controlled' and chained stuff we have had the last few years, with search engines not primarily dedicated to censoring things the rulers don't want seen or read) if we get suspicious about what we are reading, or want to check something, but a properly set up national media, under true democratic control, which is dedicated to offering impartial reporting of facts, with opinion voices from different perspectives commenting on those facts, that we can generally trust, is, I think an absolute necessity. Remember, in **our** democracy, we will be the final deciders of who staffs such a media, and its operating instructions, etc - there'll be no deep state puppet PMs appointing deep state servants to **our** media, etc .... 4. Education: Strong, intelligent, critical-thinking-able, engaged democratic citizens will form the core of the democracy, and for this we need a high-quality education system. Yes, I understand that the current education system is a massive brainwashing/indoctrination/dumbing-down system to create passive, NOT-well educated, non-confrontational, gullible citizens to legitimize and enable the oligarchy, but that simply shows the power an education system can have, and we need to turn that power to democratic rather than oligarchical ends. The education system was not always primarily a brainwashing system, up until say the 1950s or 60s it did quite a good job, overall, in 'the 3 Rs' and higher education - to the extent it was somewhat elitist we can make it more egalitarian, and we need to remove all traces of the cancerous capitalist/NWO indoctrination mission of the last 50 years and then bring the system up to the modern version we need, turning out the kind of intelligent, well-informed, critical-thinking-enabled, independent, engaged citizens a Democracy requires. I (speaking for myself) have no objection to 'home schooling' in principle, but not all parents can do that, and community schooling also plays an important role in developing young peoples' social skills (and I think there will be less inclination to home schooling, which, as far as I understand, was taken up by many people because of the often outrageous indocrination activities of the 'official' 'education' system), and also for families who are poor or run by abusive adults (ideally in our true democracy these kinds of situations will decrease dramatically, but for now we have them and will have to deal proactively with them). The overall education of a citizen will involve both the family and community, of course, as a well-functioning family is a microcosm of a well-functioning democracy, and the community at large as the young people are invited to participate in town meetings as soon as they wish as passage into adult citizen - but the children need a solid grounding in basic language skills, basic maths and science, basic history and geography, basic arts and culture and social skills, and etc, and a good education system is the best and most efficient way to do that for large groups of children, as long as we keep the basic brainwashing/indoctrination underlying narratives of the last few decades out of it. When the indoctrination part is removed, we will also see that not everyone needs a 'university education', there are many jobs in society which are learned better as apprenticeships following completion of the 'basic necessary skills' curriculum, and every person will be able to decide the level of 'school learning' beyond the basic level they desire, with no prejudice at all - we need 'average working people' in a society at least as much as we need 'professionals' - but there is no need to believe such people are less able to be strong, informed democratic citizens - indeed, really, it is the working people and their understanding of the need for democratic unions and working together to oppose wouldbe dictators (aka capitalists) who are often the strongest supporters of true democracies. 5 - Police/Courts - We're going to have to do a serious makeover of our legal-policing system, which has always had the underlying function, with no doubt honorable exceptions in various places at various times, to protect and serve the elite rulers rather than 'we the people', and is currently pretty much completely under the influence of capitalist corruption, as is every major institution in our capitalist societies. You can't have a decent country when all major decisions go through this 'capitalist corruption' filter. We do need a police service in our society - first, at this time we have a very large number of people who have internalized 'capitalist values' of getting ahead through deceit and violence whom we will have to be protected against, and a kind of underclass of uneducated people who choose to live by crime rather than become capitalist robots in soul-destroying jobs, and even once we start to convince these people that true socialist values [AIEEE!!!! if you recoil in horror at that word, be patient, there's a big explnation of this in the coming 'Big Lies' section]] are much better for all of us, there are always going to be predator-type people who think it's fine to steal from others, or use violence in pursuit of their ends, and not all citizens are going to be able to protect themselves from such people. Our Democracy will not require so many police as we have now as we will have many more citizens capable of looking after themselves and their much more united communities, and also we will have much, much less crime than in the capitalist societies, which are based from the top on deceit and violence and so foster a lot of people who see that as an accepted way of living for those so inclined, but those we do have will have to change their work habits somewhat, as they start taking their general 'to serve and protect' oath to mean 'to serve and protect we the people', rather than their ruling class masters. Actually, their former ruling class masters, top level 'white collar' criminals to a man or woman, will probably be getting a large share of their attention for the first few years of our re-purposed Democracy, as well as rooting out all the agents and enablers of capitalist corruption throughout our governments, which is going to take some doing. The judicial system is also going to require a major makeover, as its current primary and most important function is serving as the final buffer between the ruling elite and the endless crimes they commit against 'we the people'. It's notable that one of the deepest brainwashing messages we have all had internalized through the 'education' system and constant media reinforcement (and peer pressure of course, the fully indoctrinated are the best passers on of any ideological belief) is the essential infallibility and godlikeness of the judicial system - if they say the government did nothing wrong, then we are to passively accept this as the Word of the Lord, and go home and shut up about it all, as most do, mocking complainers as just 'sour grapes' or other dismissals. Again, in our Democracy, there will be a great deal less need for such people, as we will have fewer onerous and unnecessary laws (providing 'work' currently for far too many far too highly paid and criminally-inclined 'managerial class' lawyers, all enablers of the corrupt system), and far less crime, most of which is poverty-related and we aren't going to have any serious poverty in our Democracy, and I expect we will want to establish more local, community-based and fair ways of dealing with smaller crimes. 6 - Healthcare: this system is clearly going to need some massive changes in focus also, as for decades now it has primarily been the servant of the 'big pharma' industry, promoting maximum medication of the population rather than maximum health - I used to think there were a lot of good doctors out there, but given the almost total immediate capitulation of most of these 'health care professionals' and their joining of the faith-based science-free very dangerous and health-harmful covid cult in 2020, that idea obviously was very mistaken, there's clearly been an ongoing beneath-the-surface subversion of this field of 'professionals' for many years, and this is going to take a lot of work - we obviously need a health care system, modern and efficient and available to all who need it, with well-trained and highly ethical doctors and other health personnel who serve the public rather than Big Pharma - including openness about traditional medicine forms - but the astonishing lack of general basic ethics that was on display through the covid scam is going to require a good deal of figuring out and dealing with. Treatments and medicines of the most advanced kind should be available to all, but the primary goal of a good healthcare system should be just that - good health for all with minimal rather than maximal use of drugs etc. The health care system must emphasize good health practices, rather than making everyone dependent on often harmful drugs. This will of course go hand in hand with reducing poverty, for like so many other problems, poor health is very much related to poverty and ignorance. 7 - Communications and transportation are the most obvious critical physical infrastructure things we need to be well in control of to live in the modern world and enable our Democracy; physically, in terms of money and knowledge, we have the modern capability to have world class communication and transportation systems, but again, under capitalist control, they have become very degraded in terms of providing affordable, high-quality widespread public access, which every citizen should have a right to as they have rights to all other basic necessities. A high-quality internet available affordably to everyone is a cornerstone of the Democracy proposal herein, as more or less instant communication with everyone else will be necessary to share ideas and monitor what is happening in the country. For transportation, the public transportation in Canada has become a joke, like so many other things as the capitalists defund as much as they can to expand their own bank accounts, like all wannabe omnipotent rulers they don't see any need for the peasant class to be travelling much when they should be shackled to their work machines - but in a modern society, the public transportation should be available, inexpensive and efficient to reduce the use of polluting automobiles, and also reduce the use of fossil fuels. The postal service is also something of a joke, which should be a matter of outrage, as again decades ago it was a truly world-class service. 8 - A national defence system - again, I think in the modern world we need a modern defence system - but actually 'defence' and not just a term actually meaning 'imperialist offence puppet to the US capitalist hegemony', again one with serving 'we the people' as its focus, not the world hegemon or the international arms industry. We need to decide what level of military we want, obviously we're not going to aspire to be a military world power, so we need to decide what level of defence we want, against what potential enemies or invaders, and then create that in a world-class way. Again, getting the capitalist corruption out of the process will make things much better than the series of national jokes and disgraces we've seen the last 20-30 years in this very important institution in Canada. A national defence system can be an excellent training ground for many young people as well, and a potential honorable career, when run by people with integrity and teaching the values talked about above of the good citizen, and retaining one of its currently useful services, being available for actual national emergencies. 9 - Foreign Affairs - we live in a big world, and an international world, and we need to have the national wherewithal to deal with other countries, for such things as facilitating trade and travel at least. But this has to be, again, a citizen democratically controlled foreign policy institution, not something citizens are completely excluded from as in the current pretend-democracies as the rulers of the various countries work things out the way they want them, rather than as peaceful democratic citizens might prefer. I.e. do we want to mindlessly support imperialist policies of the US-NATO hegemon, or perhaps align ourselves more with peace-seeking organistations such as BRICS? How much of our resources do we want to devote to helping other countries fight for their own Democracies? And etc - many questions need to be talked about and settled. 10 - Natural Resources - again, many big issues to be discussed and settled. We are in great trouble around the world in terms of destruction of so many natural resources, but once we remove the endless-growth-demanding and highly wasteful capitalist parasites, this demand will be greatly reduced, and we should be able to establish policies to more sustainable levels. We can expect a natural population reduction as citizens become more secure, which should help also. 11 - this is not an actual institution per se, but it is going to be crucial to establishing a true Democracy - an 'Establishing Democracy Defence Plan and Force'. It is a certainty that our current rulers are not going to disappear quietly into their good night when challenged with our True Democracy movement, they are going to be utterly vicious and ruthless in the defence of their fiefdoms - and if we are to have any chance of dethroning these evil corrupt bastards, it is of first order necessity that we understand this, and have very solid plans in place about how we are going to deal with their attacks from day 1, if they see or believe we are having any success at all, they will be all over us with every kind of smear and weapon imaginable, and if we are not very well prepared, our movement will not even get off the ground. Including, let's not forget, how are we going to deal with the probable very nasty retaliation from the US, for this and other things - i.e. think about how the US deals with places like Cuba and Venezuela, and Russia recently. Let's hope Trump gets reelected, I am pretty sure he would be much more reasonable. (a recent video and talk from Robert Malone, who has been front and center in the fight against the covid insanity for the last while, talking about We are in the middle of an information and knowledge war and the 'deep state' people doing all they can to infiltrait (sic) and create division among these people fighting for all of us.) 12 - Leadership: and one more, a difficult one, but a very important one - Leadership: we need leadership - but not 'a boss/leader'. In a democracy, everyone should be ready to lead when/if required - but sometimes 'leadership' from a high level is required in, for example, some kind of national emergency, when immediate action is required and we don't have a couple of weeks to have meetings to get the national desire. Those taking over our country and world with clearly evil intent towards most of us are very well organized and very powerful, and working in a very coordinated way to get what they want - we can be sure they will create crises of various types during their counter/reactionary revolution, and we **must have** a very organized resistance to be able to react immediately to deal with such things, with well thought out contingency plans for things these people might get up to - not a 'supreme leader', but we need to be talking together about a coherent, well thought out plan, with some kind of command structure to quickly be ready to respond and organize and lead in such situations. Working out this command structure, and the people in it, and the various contingency plans, will be a very important part of our democratic meetings, and how we are going to work together, how we will react to serious setbacks, and etc - a leader in name, with pretty much total power on a temporary, clearly defined basis, whose purpose is to capably organize and react to serious new problems quickly, etc etc - it will be one of our more difficult discussions, but maybe the most necessary - our democracy plans will be useless if we cannot clear the enemy from the throneroom and get ourselves in there - and then maintain our control of the true sovereign of our country 13. Creating the Democratic WWW Agora IMAGINE - a great net of informed, engaged, intelligent, active citizens, not glued to hivephones and meaningless trivia, but talking excitedly and joyously together, sharing creative ideas about their efforts to create true democracies in their own communities and countries, a true democratic movement with the goal of democratically taking over their state/provincial/national governments and replacing the BigMoney/deepstate puppets and their WEF agenda with true democracy reps with an agenda of truly enacting a democratic agenda proposed and accepted by we the people??? --- some kind of Let's Do Democracy!! network This will be a crucial part of our new Democracy - some kind of un-takedownable blockchain or something the computer-skilled among us can imagine and create, an internet presence where we have massively integrated and highly redundant communications between all of the small groups and 2nd level groups that cannot be 'hacked' or disrupted by the rulers, and central organisational websites which are so widely dispersed they are invulnerable to the attacks of the rulers who will surely be trying to take us down as soon as they perceive any level of danger from us. We need to communicate new ideas, problems, etc etc etc, on a regular basis. We should ASAP have the beginnings of our national news service, local writers from every area keeping us up to date on how things are going, successes or problems in any area, and in the early days sharing our growth. In our movement we will have many people competent in doing this, and from the earliest days we should be working on this network. When we have some kind of funding established, this would be one of the first 'full time jobs' to establish, as full communication between all of us is going to be absolutely necessary in creating the unified resistance to the current rulers. And etc - this is obviously just a very brief overview of the things we are all going to have to be aware of as we undertake our major course correction, getting back on the path to a true democracy such as our ancestors fought for for many generations and centuries. As noted, the capitalist berserker became once again dominant in the 1970s and did a great deal of damage to our nicely developing democratic institutions, and insinuated many things into our institutions to enable it to maintain and increase its control over the increasingly passive citizenry it was also creating. We have to reawaken our citizens, and root out and expel the evil things the capitalist cancer has placed in our bureaucracies, and get them back on a truly democratic track, managed by an aware and engaged citizenry. ********************** And then the third necessity for a strong democracy - the people managing the various necessary democratic institutions - which will be intertwined with the creation of the democratic citizen and the primary democratic process, how we create and structure our government, so that must be the next thing we look at - how do we go about convincing the apparently majority of capitalist-supporting proles that they are on a very, very destructive path, and it is long past time to retake their brains and let us return to the path of true Democracy??
