Ammo - selection of very good commentary from other writers on important stuff - FAAAAARRRRR BETTER THAN TV!!!
Canadians for Canada Coalition (CCC) - United Left, if you will - but bottom of the line - Get Rid of Corporate Government in Canada - 2004 Federal Election may be your last chance - act NOW PLEASE!!
The Debt Conspiracy Theory Fact - do you believe people who email you from Africa wanting to give you 10 million bucks? No? Well WHY DO YOU BELIEVE THE NATIONAL DEBT IS LEGITIMATE?!?!? (Sorry - I get excited about this...)
911 - as important as the debt scam - ask yourself why you are so afraid to admit the truth here, even when it's been kicking you in the face almost since it happened? When the world you live in is operating under a lie this big and obvious and monstrous, you have no security whatsoever.

mama mama who dat scary man mama??!!
HAHA HAHAHA HAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!
040530 - hit the road jose!
I don't quite understand the flap about Layton saying Martin had blood on his hands that the media are making such an issue out of because of the homeless people who have died over the last few years - it's a bit harsh, to be sure, but then the truth often is - and it's pretty hard to deny the pretty straight cause-effect stuff here - cut budgets that help poor people, leading to more people on the street with no place to shelter in brutal weather, people die. My only small problem is singling Martin out alone, when the responsibility should be shared among quite a few, the name Harris just sort of LEAPS to mind for some reason - but I guess it’s election talk and Harris got out before the shit hit the fan bigtime, like the brave neocons usually do (does the name Mulroney ring a bell??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA - they’re like contract killers, hired to do a certain job for a big reward at the end) - and also, I suppose it's all part of the fairytale land we live in. Actually it's a good metaphor for the bigger problem - people seem reluctant to face the truth about a lot of things - if they did, they'd have to acknowledge that their "elected" leaders were, if you dug a bit and faced what you saw rather than burying your head in the sand, a pretty crooked bunch, and possibly worse - crooked for sure, once you understand The Debt Scam, that's pretty high thievery, over a LONG period of time, with complicity at the top necessary for it to work - and, even Canadian leaders, supporting the "NATO" (read US) bombing of Yugoslavia a few years back, and Bush's invasion of Afghanistan and, at best, turning a blind, unprotesting eye to the expanded atrocities in Iraq (and the Canadian gov, at least at the higher levels, HAD to know about the US complicity in 911 - it is not feasible that they didn't) - well, they're not a nice bunch, to put it politely, all propaganda and fairy tales and brainwashing and media BS to the side. It's kind of like the really nice minister whom everybody thought was just such a wonderful person that nobody would say boo about - until you find he's been diddling the alter boys for the last 20 years (and the reaction of most people at that time is interesting and germane - they would rather cover up such stuff than expose it). This stuff happens not because people CAN'T see - but because they WON'T.
Something to think about when you can’t sleep tonight HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.
Anyway, old Jose closes with such a clever remark - ”...Get your head out of the clouds Jack -- and your hands away from our pockets. ...” - well, why don’t we rephrase that just a bit - Get YOUR head out of the sand (mymymy aren’t WE being polite today HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA) Jose, and if you don’t like paying taxes to support our health care system - why don’t you just move to the US, if ya love the way they do things there so much???? (fuck nobody seems to want to answer that question.... - odd, isn’t it???). All the polls show that Canadians think things like the health care system are their top priority, and they do NOT mind paying taxes for it!! - so trot your little butt off to the Great Land of Freedom where you pay lower INCOME taxes - but wait for the shock when you get your PRIVATE Health Insurance bill HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (PS - leave your passport at the border, will ya? I personally don’t think we need people in Canada who are determined to destroy it - freedom of opinion is one thing, but working to destroy our country is quite another - they got a word for that in the dictionary - traitor, or something like that.....)
Odd how these folks scream bloody murder about the NDP, but they don’t seem to have a clue about The Debt Scam - a thoroughly capitalistic endeavour (they are, after all, all crooks at the top of this particular feeding chain, with the biggest crooks in the highest places) having milked us for over a Trillion bucks the last 30 years or so, and continues to take us for at least 50 Billion a year (provincial debts included) - and if we got THAT super-heavy capitalistic hog off our shoulders, we could have a pretty decent place around here. Lower taxes, improved services and all - it ain’t a dream, it is doable - but only if a few more people wake up and quit listening to the likes of Jose and his Big Brothers in Bay St. Jack ain’t talking much about this (it is a BIG red flag to the Bay St Bulls) - but he has been talking at least a bit about getting the Bank of Canada involved in the public finances a bit. I think.)
Enough of that shit - it does get tedious, like explaining to 14-year olds there IS no Santa, but ya gotta let em know you’re watching sometimes.
Lots of people are forced to waste their time in this sort of thing, things that the average people should be paying attention to a bit more themselves. Like the Council of Canadians - remember how Chretien was supposed to be such a relief after 9 years of Mulroney, and turned into Mulroney on steroids, with the able assistance of Finance Minister Paul Martin (??? haven’t I heard that name recently??? HAHAHAHAHAAA) - well, we could be looking at Chretien-lite in the person of this McGuinty in Ontario - here’s rather an interesting, somewhat worrisome, read - Social movements issue warning... Massive privatisation of public institutions put on table by Ontario Liberals - ”...the new Ministry for Public Infrastructure Renewal has put out a discussion paper that contemplates unprecedented privatisation...”.
Well - the crooks are going to keep robbing us all blind until a few more of us stand up and tell em to stop. That’s the way they work. And if we don’t put a bunch of em in jail in this country pretty soon, for a long time, and try to get back some of that money they stole - well - if there’s no punishment but the potential payoffs are huge (that trillion bucks in the debt scam for instance) - well, it’s like chasing the dog away from the roast beef, but then leaving it on the counter for him to come back to, with no application of the little stick to the little doggie bum, and a few hours outside to suggest that certain behaviours are not welcome. We the People now - when the politicians and bankers rob us blind, what do we do??? Why - we read little columnists like right-wing Jose there - and elect them again!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA (and THAT laughter ain’t moi - it’s from the top floors of the Bay St towers after hours - as Canadians take all this “electoral choice” between Tweedledee and Tweedledum seriously again.... in the fixed game we call Canadian “elections” - the house ain’t about to lose.)
The Entertainment file, sort of - a “review” of The Day After Tomorrow by a guy called Peter Howell in the Star - man, this is just pure invective, obviously by someone in the willing pay of the oil barons-cum-capitalists who are NOT going to put up with this climate change talk anyhow anyway, even in a fiction film - it’s one thing to say “Well, I didn’t much like the film” - but quite another to heap the shit on it like this guy does, and try to destroy the ideas upon which it is based - of course, that’s neocon freedom - you’re free to believe what WE TELL YOU TO!!!!. And another review by George Monbiot, a much more calm and sane writer - you will notice that Monbiot doesn’t get hysterical over all this the way Howell does, just comments calmly about it all - methinks, as ol Willy said, (s)he (Powell in the Star!) doth protest too much! - meaning, of course, that those who protest most loudly and vociferously against something they have been accused of are most likely guilty of that very thing - I suspect ol Peter here knows damn good and well that his corporate masters HAVE done some very bad things to our planet, that may well lead to some pretty bad shit in the near future that is at least somewhat avoidable if we start doing something about it NOW, and if there is any justice to be had at any time (unlikely, at least for the perps here - we’re ALL going to pay for their actions) - people like HIM who jumped on the ol corporate bandwagon for the lucre they could get for selling their shrivelled little souls are going to be high on the list for some fire and brimstone, or whatever they dish out to these subhumans. So he screams in protest like the kid in the cartoon “I DIDN’T DO IT AND QUIT CALLING MY MOTHER NAMES!!!!!”
Another sign of the times for the Star - letting people like this onto the payroll - let him go to the Pispot where he belongs with this kind of drivel.
Monbiot’s review is MUCH better - he admits the science is a bit far-fetched, but hey - isn’t that what they DO in Hollywood?? Of course it is! It’s called FICTION after all!!! - but we can still learn from it, as we enjoy it, and get some ideas to think about, even if we disagree with them.
I saw the film last week - good, maybe even great, SFX for sure - story line a little hollywoodish, but they all are, aren’t they?, and when they do it well, it’s great even! - but the science, although people like Howell probably don’t understand much about it, just scream in protest at the behest of their masters, IS there, and it IS feasible - we don’t **know** what’s going to happen in the future, EVERYTHING is speculation, but it’s in the cards that SOMETHING is going to happen, based on what IS happening already which is NOT speculation, and it probably ain’t gonna be good - thinking otherwise is just wishful (and kind of stupid) “thinking”, although that probably isn’t quite the appropriate word. It was people like Howell who would have mocked Copernicus back whenever for daring to oppose the High leaders of the time and suggest that the world might be round (ohmygodno!! - what a nut HAHAHAHAHAHAHA), and just maybe NOT the center of the universe (onmygodnononono!!! - we can’t have people thinking like that!!!) - as blasphemous to the rulers of the day, and threatening to their power, as this climate change talk is to the rulers of today (man, if we cut back on fossil fuel consumption to the extent we have to to avoid some bad shit, the oil barons are going to lose a lot of money, which translates pretty directly into power these days - does the name “Haliburton” ring a bell out there?!?!?!?!...). And ain’t THAT some wild conspiracy theory too HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA
There was one wildly funny part in the movie, for those awake enough to catch it (it HAD to be intentional) - the pres of the US, a Bushy type, with a Cheney type as VP, acting all heroic, stays in Washington as the snows come, really, really concerned and looking after his flock Audie Murphy style, and is “the last one out” - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA fuck ol George the REAL sickshrub would be on the FIRST plane out if anything dangerous looked to be coming for real HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA - ah, them guys in Hollywood.
Actually, been having some second sort of thoughts about films as propaganda - they do have that effect in a lot of ways, and a lot of times are directly made for that purpose, it sure as fuck seems! - think Black Hawk Down (now can you just IMAGINE any of THOSE great heroic figures in a prison in Iraq abusing prisoners?!?!?!?! Not those Great Heroes man SUPPORT OUR GREAT TROOPS YOU TRAITOR!!!! - but we know the reality. Were John Wayne’s Green Berets being great heroes in Vietnam the reality - or My Lai?!?!?!?! - and endless other stories from the annals of the CIA and American military, stretching back to the original genocide of the American Indians of which we have seen so many lying movies about (a few exceptions, Costner’s Dancing with Wolves comes to mind, some nice touches in Cruise’s Last Samurai about the vicious American slaughters that occurred - no question at ALL of who the real barbarians are in these scenarios of the last 500+ years and ongoing) - smallpox blankets, anyone??? They haven’t changed their stories much either, and the American public is still buying them - the natives in this continent trying to defend their land from the foreign invaders with NO fucking morals at all were demonized and called savages - not unlike the comparable people in a place called Iraq defending THEIR land from the American savages are called “terrorists”. right jack
Anyway, I think a lot of films might actually, in a small subversive way, act against the people who make them as propaganda - because the world they portray, a world of good people doing mostly good stuff, bullshit that it is right now - well hell, that’s the world MOST of us want to LIVE in - not this corrupt shit we have all around us now - we WANT brave soldiers protecting us, with REAL morals, who kill REAL bad guys and not innocent people for no other reason than the conquest their masters desire - we WANT a President in the White House who is a REAL man, a real “good guy”, who WOULD stay and look after his people - not hop on the first chopper out of the danger zone like ol Georgie - I mean fuck, that’s why we elect them, right? And insofar as they do that, insofar as these films reinforce what we WANT (even if they pretend to be what we have, which is a gross sort of lie) - well, maybe they keep a dream alive a bit that might otherwise die, maybe they contribute to some anger and waking up when "leaders" so obviously the complete opposite of the desired, so obviously corrupt and anything BUT good, like Bush, are running their country and the entire world into the ground - Orwell portrayed it well - in his Dystopia, not many people had the dream anymore - the life of drudgery was all they knew. The Hollywood types are often portrayed as left-lib sorts, and many of them are - you also have the Republican “defenders-of-the-wealthy elite” sorts like Charlton Heston as well, and the shadowy Jewish cabal that is said to run the place. Don’t know - but even Disney gets into it sometimes, I have this sneaking suspicion ol Walt, for all his money, was probably a good sort and maybe his spirit lives on somewhere in the shadows of the Disney empire, Phantom of Tomorrowland or something - Brother Bear is a great cartoon, with the “fearsome enemy other” actually turning to be not so bad after all (unlike the typical bigstream cartoon drivel-propaganda-brainwashing shit like Ants or something, with all the characters being nothing more than insect-derivatives of the American hero-lassindistress-villian basic plot) - and this was made in the days of demonizing all Arabs and Muslims, and could easily have been made into something much darker, much more directly propagandistic - but instead, this film tells us we need to talk to those we fear, need, in reality, to overcome all that propaganda shit that says “the others” are “evil” - and maybe we will find they are not so bad - may even find they are - US!!!! - as Pogo said.
No to Green Party in debate - Broadcast Consortium censors political choices - have to wait and see how this plays out, with a couple of weeks left to change their decision. But I expect it will stick - we wouldn’t want people taking their votes away from the Libs or Harper people and giving them to the Greens, which might happen after a debate - as long as they are allowed to have a reputation as “lefty” sorts (which they don’t appear to be with their new leader, this Harris guy, a “fiscal conservative” he calls himself, meaning more laissez-faire (i.e. “free trade”) shit, and less money for “welfare” (at least for poor people, and “welfare” including such things as government-subsidised health care - horrors!) - and suck votes away from the NDP, well, that’s great, that’s the point after all, at least in this particular election.
HAHAHAHA - geez, the Globe still has some retros who sneak stuff in sometimes - Outdated democracy: We vote, they rule - Governance needs to get out of the horse-and-buggy age and go digital, says DON TAPSCOTT - right on, Don - and about the last we’re gonna hear of THAT kind of shit THIS election, right guys???? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
This is more like the “real” Globe these days, the TERRORISM!!!! DON’T FORGET TO BE AFRAID!!!! story de jour - U.S. links Canadians to new terror threat - fuck it is completely beyond me how ANYONE can listen to this kind of shit anymore, without giving it the same sort of leeriness they give to, oh, people who claim to have seen flying saucers with Elvis at the controls, begging for their bodies or something - fuck, these people in Washington, to the THINKING mind at least, have ZERO credibility after years of lies about everything. Back to that “truth” thing above, I guess - with the FBI and others chasing down anyone who disses old George and his buds (in the US - but coming soon to Canada!!! - watch for it after the election!!!), I suppose the few who aren’t completely zombied by Fox and CNN (the US Joses hahahaha - not funny when you consider the consequences) are learning to keep quiet about things - and around the world, well, George’s “with us or agin us” policies seem to have much the same effect internationally - just ask a guy named Martin.
But I wanna know - when they start with all this shit about “increased chatter” making them feel something is going happen - why doesn’t someone ask them something like - “Well hey guys, if increased chatter is a signal of bad things on the way - where was that chatter before, oh, the Bali bombing, or the Turkey bombings, or the Madrid bombings????HuHHHH????? Annnnnddddd - why have all these orange alerts of the last couple of years you have raised panic about actually resulted in NO terrorist incidents - but JUST COINCIDENTALLY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA come at times when another of your great lies had been exposed or some other big scandal was breaking (the La Plante outing or the Iraq prison pics for instance) and was making the news rounds even in your castrated American press (the world press still has SOME balls, although not very big and probably not two of them HAHAHAHAHAHAAA - and given the attitude of the Canadian press the last few years, that “HEY!!! WE’RE NOT TALKING ABOUT HARD STUFF!!!! LIKE NATIONAL DEBT SCAM OR THE US GOV CONNECTION TO 911 NOSIREEBOBSYERUNCLEJACK HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" they’d have to be pretty firmly in the former class....) - but NONE of these great warnings ever amounted to anything more serious than little old ladies or school kids being rounded up and eventually released a few weeks later when it was clear you had nothing on them (and the objective of diverting attention from something else had been accomplished)? HUMHHHHHH?????”
Yea right. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA who put what in the beer???? man that’s good stuff HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
And MORE questions “real” journalists might ask, if there were any left working in the mainstream - Promises must be kept: Martin - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - and, said the intrepid reporter, how then would that relate, Mr. Martin Sir, to, oh, the promise by the ENTIRE Canadian parliament in 1989 to eradicate child poverty in ten years (it’s HIGHER now than it was then) - or - ummmm - the Liberal promises in the 1993 election (of which government you, Mr. Martin, were assuredly a prominent part) to get rid of the GST and “renegotiate or abrogate” NAFTA??? Hmmmm????? One could think of others, no doubt, were one of a mind to HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
And that’s enough philosophy for today. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA - I gotta carry on lookin for a way out of here - like Bobby said - “I just can’t fit....” or again - “There must be some way outta here...” HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA - Bobby knew his stuff - don’t see much of THAT hippie shit around anymore HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Speaking of that ol US - they do have a lot of good guys running around down there - for one we know, of course, catch the latest Kaminski - and here’s another guy I found last week, a good writer - "Fun With Dick and George" - named Douglas O'Rourke, his column is called Column Left - worth a read. And the pic of an older American he has named Will Rogers, with a couple of his quotes, is also worth a boo - thinking material - as I keep noting, this shit has been going on for a loooooooong time - and yet we don’t seem to be much closer to solving it - why????????? Why in our countries do we have a majority of Alfred E. Newman types and such a small minority of Will Rogers types (at least judging by the lying

Write if ya want (ya gotta take the xxx off the front - I'm trying to reduce the intake from the spam assholes (oh yes you fucking are - it is NOT amusing - get a fucking life why don't you, instead of bothering people - how fucking stupid can you be?? If you were the last fucking product on earth I wouldn't buy anything from you!! Fuck.)).
What direct action did you take today to do something to get rid of corporate government in Canada besides deleting spam? Do you feel that it was enough, given the situation? Will you feel content telling that to your grandchildren, should they survive, and the country, and the planet?
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: With thanks to the Editors of the Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, Ottawa Citizen, Ch'town Guardian, Vancouver Sun, and others I cannot think of at the moment, for their refusal to print my letters over the last few years on various issues of national import - had I even a hope of being printed occasionally in these fora and my voice acknowledged in the national debate, I would undoubtedly not have bothered putting all this together. Cheers!
