June 2 - Ottawa Morning - Robyn having a patronising discussion with some guy about idiots who think they can do things themselves around the house. We're all, in CBC world, just little munchkins, helpless and relying on Mother to look after us. YOU HEAR THAT CHILDREN????? DO NOT DO THINGS YOURSELF!@!!! you poor children are just not competent, and we have specially trained people to do things for you - not to mention specially trained experts to tell you what to think - you people surely do not want to try to THINK for yourselves, OMG hahahahahahaha!!!!!

May 30 - a new "humor" thing (the idea of CBC 'humor' is laughable in itself) - but they have 'famous people' reading famous lines from old movies in a 'funny' way - starting with 'I love the smell of napalm' - from Apocalypse Now, of course, laughing at the Americans dropping napalm on Vietnam, killing millions, causing birth defects that last to this day - a real laugh. Just as a comparison, what if they dragged up some line from a movie about the German-Jewish holocaust, and tried to play it for laughs? Think that would pass unremarked???? I kind of doubt it. haha. (but for some far, far better humor stuff, as always, try RT - Lee Camp and Redacted Tongith - humor for adults who care about their country, not the CBC shit for dumbed down drones mindlessly supporting the NWO as instructed by the CBC.

I may have said that before. Sometimes it's the most appropriate word - darn darn DARN!!!! just doesn't seem to have the same weight...). The entire country is going to be up for one of these Darwin awards any day now. The dumbing down is really taking over.

She didn't quote any sources - the ads 'just appeared', and the polls showing the NDP pretty equal with the rest are only a few days old, so strategies based on those polls must be recent - hmmm. smell test. she's making stuff up - that's what they do, of course, as they 'create the narrative', but this is a bit over the line, methinks. But then again, I'm probably the only person in the country enough out of the box, and paying attention, to notice this, and they obviously don't give a shit what I think or know. Yet. haha.

May 24 - Oh Canada - student disqualified from running for council for saying 'dick' ????????????? WTF as they say?????? - this is really going too far. But then, I've been saying for years, never never think that they can't go lower. I think it was Einstein who said "only two things we know of are infinity, the universe and human stupidity. And I'm not certain about the universe.' - something like that. Smart guy. But it is of course this kind of utterly trivial stupidity the rulers are creating among the peasants, so immersed in trivial navel gazing they have no idea of the rulers above them.

May 23 - related to various earlier postings - When did our society get so sensitive? - Christie Blatchford from the NP - don't usually agree with Ms Blatchford, the leader of the NP pogrom against Ford last year, and any number of other opinions and gossip I considerably disagree with (as with most of the NP writers) - but she seems to be the only columnist allowed in the major parts of the Cdn corporate propaganda media to stand up to Power here, with the utter stupidity of the endless trivial attacks that have been going on the last few years against anybody making even the most trivial jokes involving women and sex - you know, the kind of jokes men have been telling forever, and will continue to tell forever. (and we might note,even the NP editors live in fear of these people, as this column had a VERY short life on the front page of the website, and is not even shown on the 'comment' page a day later - it's still on her page, but not many people will know about it and look for it - a bit worrisome that even the libertarian NP owners are cowed by this kind of political correctness - says a lot about 'power' relations here... and nothing good) So good on ya for that Ms CB. May 19 - >> the Current, showing how caring they are, a big discussion about how to make better refugee camps for all them poor refugees - oddly enough, not a single fucking WORD about the best way to solve anything is, if possible, to stop causing it in the first place - you know, if you're in a hole, stop digging. Canada has been directly involved with a great deal of the middle east refugee crisis, cheering on the destruction of Iraq, directly participating in the destruction of Libya and yugoslavia and Syria, and generally supporting US hegemony and its endless bombing and destruction around the world. You cannot be anything more than massively hypocritical when crying crocodile tears about a problem like this, without admitting your own role in causing the problem. And their solutions are utterly meaningless, well maybe I exaggerate, there were one or two small sort of lesser good ideas - but generally completely in the box, not dealing with anything meaningfull. For of course the root of the problem is capitalism and the utter refusal of the rulers to allow any of the wealth of a country to be spent on good stuff 'we the people' need - we all all fabulously wealthy and could easily deal with all of these refugees if we really wanted to. (it's a bit circular of course - capitalist aggression is causing most of the refugees, so if we got rid of these psychopaths, we wouldn't have most of the war-displaced refugees to deal with in the first place ... haha not going to talk about THAT on the CBC either ..)

May 19 - morning 'World Report' - just shaking my head from start to finish - complete garbage, beginning to end - finish - 'google is looking for a new artist to draw its webpage stuff' - ??????????????? What in the FUCK does that have to do with 'national news' Cdns need to know??????? - it's SUCH a contrast, when you have spent an hour or two listening to 'real' stuff of interest to adults - Real News, for instance, a very interesting conversation between Chris Hedges and Robert Scheer (listen to this, and the 'conversation' AM had with Hedges last week), or anything on RT - the latest In the Now (Anissa makes AM Tremonti or Carol Off look like the pretty nasty capitalist propagandists/gatekeepers/mush peddlers they are, personalities of a semi sentient pit bull when they decide they need to discredit something in internetland that's threatening their propaganda), Going Underground, or even Redacted Tonight - I'm not overly thrilled with the comedy stuff of Redacted, but Lee Camp is a host with a real personality, and certainly talks about things from a 'truth' perspective NEVER heard around the CBC. (and Camp is a fucking genius compared to the utter pathetic for-halfwit-teens shit they call 'comedy' now on the CBC (Rick Mercer excepted, of course, he plays as close to the edge as it is possible to play and still get heard on the CBC - but still in the box... Camp is WAY out of the fucking box.)

May 18 - stupidity about sex is pretty worldwide. we ALL have a body, thus there are maybe 3+billion human males and the same number of human females in the world - and we have ALL seen tits and penises and everything else - yet for some reason (actually it's generally religion and power indoctrination, control of 'the people'), we are supposed to react in horror if we actually see one of these things in public, or run around cying 'My life is ruined!!!!!' if somebody catches a glimple of some 'private' part. Utter idiocy - discretion is fine, and privacy, but utter panic or outrage at any display of nudity is really stupid - anyway, all around the world - new rules for Angkor - this gets beyond irony, really, as one of the most beautiful things about the temples is the literally endless number of individual female Aspara dancer carvings in pretty much every temple - every one with small proud and beautiful Asian breasts bared. YOU CAN"T SEE THAT!!!!!

May 17 - CBC story - ISIS is sneaking fighters in to Europe on these migrant ships that are sinking and being turned back and all the rest of it!!!! - actually, this is a story for the 'too fucking stupid to think' gang. These guys are obviously able gangs - why would they put themselves in the middle of a big group of people with no arms, and their fate is either sinking or getting locked up in cages if they actually make land?!?!?!?! - fuck, there's an endless number of boats on the Mediterranean, and it is not a long trip from Africa to Europe, and there is no fucking way they can watch all the coastline - just get a boat with 10 of 50 or 100 ISIS guys, and sneak em on to some deserted beach with all their guns, etc - no sinking, no cages, no way they're getting caught. Fuck. Not immediately clear what this shit is all about - maybe just some new juvie 'news' writer getting little ideas with his 15-year old mind, '"mind" that is to say of course. fuck.

May 16 - taking a stand on freedom of speech - '...Free expression is democracy...'. Well, sort of anyway - 'FHRITP!!!!' apparently doesn't qualify - although cartoons of Allah having anal sex with boys is perfectly fine. Pretty typical capitalist stuff - if WE do it, it's fine - if YOU do it - SHUT UP!@!!!! and etc. And they also declare a great loyalty to 'Canadians' 'right to know' - which is a bit odd, considering the propaganda and gatekeeping of some pretty important stuff the Cdn corporate press all stand together on - I guess they mean Canadians have a right to know about whatever the media wants to tell them, or something like that. Good box stuff anyway - I mean, surely you can trust your media when they stand so tall and shout so loud about stuff like this - even if they have their fingers and probably toes crossed behind their back. etc The Canadian media - ferociously on guard for THEIR right to all the gossip they can uncover!!!

- good comparison stuff - when you listen to the CBC for awhile, and the endless propaganda and mush, get a sense of what a **real** 'journalism' outlet does - Chris Hedges talking to Robert Scheer, about what's going on in America (and by extension to a large extent in Canada) - this is the stuff citizens need to be thinking about, not how outraged the poor reporter was at some over-spirited idiot shouting FHRITP!!! - this is the point of the corporate media, though - hiding the things we really need to know and talk about behind this massive smokescreen of basically irrelevancies screamed up into 'BIG ISSUE!!!!!'s we all need to talk about - the months long gossip fest about Rob Ford last year being a prime example. May 14 - Island morning - the interviewer asking a lobster fisherman what they mean by 'molting' - serious admission they believe they are talking to a dumbed down audience - or maybe just the new reporter, who *knows* he knows more than the audience (one of the peculiar conceits of so many half-witted pretend journalists), that since HE doesn't know, his audience surely doesn't - or the other kind, the 'I am the teacher, and my lesser audience wouldn't know this word, so like a good teacher I will help them!' and etc - not a true adult left in the CBC, I think ... certainly none at the lower levels (as in 'no adults need apply')

AIH - FHRITP!!!! - the Current - more spectacle, mountains from molehills, etc. and other even less nice things. PC social control, for one thing - all over the media, we have commenters - 'Look at we nice children!! We'd never say bad things like that!!!' and etc. Gross exaggeration - this, and things like it, are by and large stupid kids (includes so-called 'adults' with minds still in adolescence, very common) doing stupid things in a place (soccer game) where spirits are high and stupid things are done. And just as sort of an aside - this lady, and others, say they 'felt threatened' - and if that is the case, maybe she ought to be looking for another job - reporters - the real ones (which seem to be in seriously short supply these days) - go into dangerous places to get stories, it's part of the job - if they can't hack it, they shouldn't be doing it. Maybe she'd be happier in the cooking column or obits or something., where there's nobody to shout at her.

So what's with the double standard? If it's ok for some people to mock Allah, why is it a firing offense attracting the full condemnation of the CBC and other 'right thinking' people here to shout some stupid childish insults, in a FAR more innocent, and limited, way, at a woman reporter???? • c) a rather blatant drug company promo - some story about some new 'study' in Toronto says the HPV vaccine is now recommended for boys as well as girls - all read from a script by some lady who obviously is talking to what she sees as a group of grade 4 students, her voice up and down as she sells her lesson ... of course, not a contrary word to be heard, or anything about 'only one study' or what pharma company might be involved here selling something, etc - our citizens don't need to be confused with boring old facts like that, when the CBC is selling something, no sir. Good Cdns, we all know, do as the CBC tells them these days.
• d) - some guy from BC and a 'human entertainment' story, I guess, about some guy in a small accident, and the CBC "reporter" (haha) calling for a comment, the guys says 'Put the Beachcomber back on, and I'll give you a comment' - and the 'main news reader' then gets clever - 'not sure about the Beachcombers, but we'll look into it..' - haha they're so cool at the CBC!!
