Canadians for Canada Coalition (CCC) - United Left, if you will - but bottom of the line - Get Rid of Corporate Government in Canada - 2004 Federal Election may be your last chance - act NOW PLEASE!!
The Debt Conspiracy Theory Fact - do you believe people who email you from Africa wanting to give you 10 million bucks? No? Well WHY DO YOU BELIEVE THE NATIONAL DEBT IS LEGITIMATE?!?!? (Sorry - I get excited about this...)
911 - as important as the debt scam - ask yourself why you are so afraid to admit the truth here, even when it's been kicking you in the face almost since it happened? When the world you live in is operating under a lie this big and obvious and monstrous, you have no security whatsoever.

RM 030602 Another day another friggin complaint (ADAFC)
Lead Rant Editorial
Well - the big news, of course, has been about David Orchard (with the exception of one pic we saw of George Bush at the G8 circle-jerk pointing his finger at someone, as he laid down the law about something, that was one of the most obnoxious things I have ever seen - is there anything more pathetic than some little person who has acquired by some foul means faaaaaaar faaaaaaaaar faraaaaaaarrrr more power than they could ever achieve by themselves, but their brains or maturity have not grown with it, and has now become arrogant beyond belief? Few that I can think of off hand, anyway - and that's our little shrub, out there in the big world he knows nothing about, telling people HE has the big guns, and by god he'll use 'em if them people (ALL of whom are superior in every respect to this midget) if they don't bow down to his whims - or at least the edicts he is mouthing that others have told him to (this moron (and we ain't apologisin for telling the truth here) probably believes his own lies about Iraq). He's from Texas. He likes killin. Frogs, people, whatever. It would indeed make a normal person puke - and once again lays out the wisdom of great Calvin - "One of the surest signs of life in other parts of the universe is that they haven't contacted us yet" - fuck they'd have to be insane. As Groucho said - "I wouldn't want to be a member of any club that would have me..." Bush is the kind of person Hollywood makes a lot of movies about - and without exception the jerks like Bush are the bad guys that the great American heroes save the day from, while the Hollywood President is some Martin Sheen type that we all just KNOW is great and wise and just, and only does really good stuff for the greater good of us all - just makes you fucking proud to be American (or even Canadian-American second-class citizen types). Could be ironic, or tragic - depends on how much damage he winds up doing. Of course also - the current American military running around the world destroying things are always, in the movies, the bad guys that the Hollywood American heroes overthrow, because the Hollywood military guys are always really upstanding types that would never do anything wrong either (whoa - is that the violins? - must be the credits!) - gets confusing, I know, you may need a scorecard. Anyway, seems I've BDTD (been there done that), as they say.
Oddly enough I ramble again. Where was I - oh yea, David Orchard - note the name - David means Beloved, and Orchard - the garden, of course, central to life - he's going places. And will do this country proud - a big man with a big heart (pretty smart too - you ought to read his book, "The Betrayal of Canada" (sorry - no Amazon deals on RM)) who will forgive easily, I think, the people who have been so afraid of him as he offers his help to a country that so desperately needs what he wants to give - solid, grassroots leadership to a country that has been torn apart by its corporate "leadership" of the last 20 years - "leadership" that cares only for maximising corporate profit, at the expense of all the rest of us.
But he will have to wait a bit longer, as the old Mulroney guard - the greatest group of traitors this country has ever seen, although I expect some of them acted through sort of loyal but misguided and very stupid beliefs - still control the party, and gave the leadership to a colorless clone who will mouth the party line for the next few years.
But I started all this commentary not so much to talk about that, as to comment on an editorial about this from the star - Timid Tories opt for the status quo. The RM archive copy - read it all here if the original link has problems
Quite a disappointing editorial from what is supposed to be the main non-far-right-whacko organ in the land, for a couple of reasons - but mainly because they indicate, underneath, their disinclination to look outside of the corporate box laid out for us by the BCNI/CCCT people. In this box, for instance, the PC party now is accepted as standing for Free Trade, 120 years of Canadian Nationalism from MacDonald to Diefenbaker (strongly, strongly strongly opposed to integration with the US, both of them) and beyond apparently lost in the fog of history to them - as it is to the BCNI and their PC puppets. They say it is "disappointing" that Orchard made a deal with MacKay that some fear will threaten the so-called free trade agreements (we gotta watch getting bogged down in their terminology - theses treaties have nothing to do with trade and everything to do with corporate domination of our politics and countries), when they should have been delighting in such a thing - let the Pispot and the Glob and the Suns trumpet the wonders of "free trade" and demand that every politician support them - the Star should have the guts and foresight to see that Orchard is the only bloody Canadian out there vying for the leadership to take care of Canada and save the country, rather than sell us all out the US as much as possible. Disappointing, to say the least.
And their other major, major problem is that they once again refer to the so-called Uniting the Right campaign, to oppose the Libs - when the FUCK (excuse the language but this is getting more than a bit ridiculous) are these people going to see that the "Right" has been occupied by the Libs, and since they seem to be pretty strong there's just no room left there. They seem to be supporting some kind of "Unite the FAR WHACKO RIGHT", which is the ground that the PCs under Mulroney and the Reform-CRAP-Alliance are sort of deking it out for, and which is quite adequate explanation as to why they don't have a whole lot of support from the more or less rational voters in Canada, apart or together - even after 20 years of constant propaganda by the corporate press, most Canadians are very leery of getting involved with such extremists, rightly seeing them as political movements that owe a great deal more to US Republican - New Corporate World Order policies than anything most Canadians want for a political system in THIS country.
So wake up, you guys at the Star - as I keep saying, you don't have a bad paper, and overall the best bunch of columnists in the country (it wouldn't hurt to send Rick Anderson over to some far-right-whacko paper where he'd feel more at home (Pispot is really where he belongs), but I understand - as the Pispot and Glob have token lefties, you have your token righty), but you gotta get yer heads out of your asses the sand, and support the people of Canada through a realistic interpretation of events, not this idea that the Libs are something other than the new right-wing party in this country - you ought to be talking about Unite the Left, or some such thing, encouraging the NDP, the Greens, CAP, the Council of Canadians, the environmental groups, even David Orchard, and many others, to put together a solid center-left party for Canadians to vote for - yes, the Libs USED to occupy this space, but haven't for, oh, the last 10 years anyway, since Chretien was elected - that's quite a long time, guys, and you better wake up to reality soon. The country needs you.
.
So much left to say, so little time to say it in - probably only a year or so to the next federal election - do you want to try to save Canada in that frantic four weeks when big Paul drops the writ and EVERY friggin advantage is his - or would you like to start now, when we have some sort of outside chance? Canada for Canadians Coalition - get involved.
Write if ya want.
